Almost 11 years on and Chief Superintendent Chris Thomson, Northumbria Police the CPS and Mi5 continue to cover up. They have never charged anyone for the attempted murder of Martin McGartland.

I'm determined to continue to work with the area commands to deliver a quality service to the public, reducing crime, supporting witnesses and obtaining justice for victims." What Poppycock! Martin McGartland has never had any 'justice' or any support from Chris Thomson nor Northumbria Police. Martin Said; "Northumbria Police and its YES men (including Mr Thomson) are involved in a cover up when dealing with my attempted murder, by the PIRA, case. Moreover, Mr Thomson, the man who stated that; 'I'm determined to continue to work with the area commands to deliver a quality service to the public, reducing crime, supporting witnesses and obtaining justice for victims.' knows who was involved with my attempted murder, he knows where to find them and yet he, Northumbria Police continue to protect IRA members and contine with the cover up. Chief Superintendent Chris Thomson, Northumbria Police, Mi5 and the CPS continue to cover up IRA involvment in the 1999 shooting."
